From a nine-year-old with a guitar to a first-call studio signal.
Guitar at nine. Atlanta stages at thirteen. Daniel Groover has spent his whole life chasing the sound in his head across every room that would let him plug in.
Out of the Atlanta Institute of Music he took the in-house session chair at ZAC Recording, tracking records by day, touring with jam outfit Ludowici through the Derek Trucks scene by night.
Two decades later he's a first-call session guitarist and producer whose playing runs through hip-hop, R&B, rock and soul records, and whose own project, I.O.Z, pushes all of it somewhere stranger and further out.
